Newly released documents showed how the FBI set the stage for General Michael Flynn to be ambushed in a Whitehouse meeting involving Flynn and corrupt FBI Agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka.
In one document the Mueller team says corrupt and now fired former FBI Director Andrew McCabe reportedly called General Flynn before sending his FBI goons over to the White House to question the General, with hopes of catching him in a lie.
And now according to AP, the Justice Department is dropping its case against former Trump administration National Security Advisor Mike Flynn.
From AP: …In court documents being filed Thursday, the Justice Department said it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.” The documents were obtained by The Associated Press.
The Justice Department said it had concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview on January 24, 2017 was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”
