As earlier reported by AP, the Justice Department is dropping its case against former Trump administration National Security Advisor Mike Flynn… (In court documents being filed Thursday, the Justice Department said it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.” The documents were obtained by The Associated Press.)
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and fired FBI Director James Comey couldn’t hold back their frustration as they took to twitter to express their anger over the Justice Department’s decision on Michael Flynn.
Former FBI Director James Comey lamented that the “DOJ has lost its way” as he expressed disappointment over the news that the Justice Department moved Thursday to drop the case against former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Schiff also claimed that General Flynn’s case being dismissed was an act of a corrupt AG:
The Justice Department said it had concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview on January 24, 2017 was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.” What’s your take on this, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW…
