Earlier, the Justice Department dropped its case against former Trump administration National Security Advisor Mike Flynn. But U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan did not immediately grant the DOJ’s motion to dismiss its case.
From Gateway Pundit:
Judge Sullivan extended the case by soliciting amicus briefs to allow for public comment on Flynn’s criminal case. Judge Sullivan also appointed retired Clinton appointee judge John Gleeson to argue against the government’s motion to dismiss the charge against Flynn claiming he is not required to “rubber stamp” the Justice Department’s bid to dismiss the case.
Now, the United States Justice Department just clapped back at the rogue Obama Judge reminding him “We’re the prosecutors here, not you!”
According to the Justice Department, the case against Flynn was dropped after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances including newly discovered and disclosed information. It’s obvious that Judge Sullivan is only trying to prove stubborn.
