Last week, the Senate Homeland Security Committee held a vote to authorize Subpoenas for Obama-era Officials including Susan Rice, James Comey, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, Samantha Power and others while the Senate Judiciary Committee delayed a similar vote shifting it to this week.
And now, Gateway Pundit reported that the Senate Judiciary Committee today authorized Chairman Lindsey Graham the authority to subpoenas former Obama officials related to the FISA process and the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
The Committee voted 12-10 to approve the authorization.
Now Graham can issue subpoenas covering a number of documents, communications and testimony from witnesses, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, James Clapper, John Brennan, Sally Yates, and others.
“I want to know why all these counterintelligence investigations were opened to begin with. I think we need to look long and hard at how these investigations got off the rails. This Committee is not going to sit on the sidelines and simply move on. I can assure you we’re not going to be deterred. If we have to do it by ourselves, we will. The American people deserve answers to these questions and we intend to get them.” Graham said while making his statement after the Judiciary Committee authorized him to issue subpoenas related to oversight of the FISA process and the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
