President Trump lays down one massive smack down on former president Barack Obama over his eulogy of the late Rep. John Lewis were he took aim at the Trump administration claiming his predecessor used the platform for political gain.
Here’s a fraction of what Obama said:
… we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators. We may no longer have to guess the number of jellybeans in a jar to cast a ballot, but even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darnedest to discourage people from voting by closing polling locations and targeting minorities and students with restrictive ID laws and attacking our voting rights with surgical precision, even undermining the postal service in the run-up to an election that’s going to be dependent on mail-in ballots so people don’t get sick.
Every single American needs to watch this clip of Obama talking about voting rights. He calls out GOP for:
-closing polling places
-targeting students & minorities with voter ID laws
-attacking voting rights with “surgical precision”

President Trump ridiculed former President Obama by calling his speech terrible.
“I thought the speech the other day at the funeral was a terrible, terrible representation of what our country is all about. I thought it was absolutely terrible,” Trump said.
