During an interview with NBC news, William Barr the United States Attorney General revealed that there could be more INDICTMENTS from the ongoing John Durham’s probe into alleged misconduct and the origins of the Russia investigation.
From Fox News:
Barr was asked whether additional charges could come out of Durham’s probe after the U.S. attorney from Connecticut announced his first criminal charge against former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith last month.
“Yeah, there could be,” Barr said while declining to say whether any new charges would be announced prior to Election Day.
According to Washington Post, A former FBI lawyer pleaded guilty to altering an email that one of his colleagues relied on as he sought a court’s blessing to surveil a former Trump campaign adviser during the bureau’s 2016 investigation of Russia’s election interference.
Kevin Clinesmith, who worked in the FBI general counsel’s office starting in 2015, told a federal judge he thought at the time he was inserting truthful information, though he conceded he doctored the message.
