Brighton are resigned to losing Ben White but will demand £50m to sell the England defender after interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

The 23-year-old has been included in England’s 26-man squad for the European Championships after replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold in Gareth Southgate’s squad.

The centre-back impressed during his debut campaign in the Premier League campaign and has already caught the eye of Mikel Arteta, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jurgen Klopp, with all three managers on the lookout for a new centre-back.

Brighton are desperate to keep White and rejected a £25m bid from Leeds last summer in order to keep the defender.

But the Seagulls are realistic about their chances of doing so and know there’s little they can do to stand in White’s way if the offer of Champions League football is on the table.

However, the Mail claim Graham Potter’s men will demand in excess of £50m for the defender and the Seagulls feel they’re in a strong negotiating position given White has three years to run on his deal.

Brighton have received significant interest in White’s team-mate, Yves Bissouma and the club’s chief executive recently admitted that every player has a price.

‘We know some of our best players aren’t going to be with us for ever and, if the right offer comes along and they want to leave, then they can go,’ said Paul Barber.
