Jadon Sancho speaks on his future Manchester United transfer interest

Jadon Sancho has broken his silence on his future amid interest from Manchester United and other top European clubs.

United are long-term admirers of Sancho and they are attempting to sign the 21-year-old Borussia Dortmund star this summer after talks collapsed over a move for the winger last year, but it now seems the saga is set to finally reach its conclusion.

Sancho has scored 16 goals and made 20 assists in all competitions for Dortmund this season and his excellent performances have earned him a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming European Championship.

Since Sancho arrived at the England camp, though, reports have intensified linking him a transfer to United this summer and he’s now commented on the speculation, revealing that he doesn’t take too much notice of the links.

“[The noise] is part of the game. Fans are always going to be excited for major tournaments, so that’s normal. As a young kid growing up and watching these major tournaments, I was excited as well.

“All the lads should be excited, these tournaments don’t come around often, so you have to take your moment and when you do get your opportunity on the pitch, you have to take it.”
