The problem is his current club, Borussia Dortmund, know this and aren’t willing to sell unless a fee in excess of £150million is received. That may be a figure beyond the Blues.
What about Lukaku then? The boyhood Chelsea fan spent time at Stamford Bridge earlier in his career but wasn’t trusted by Jose Mourinho and was later sold to Everton. Now at Inter Milan, the Belgian has just spearheaded the Italian side to the Serie A title.
